Missing Together (stylized "missing together") is a new, grungy take on cloud-rap sounds with a distinct RnB and experimental flavor. Taking deep inspiration from a variety of places, the most obvious being Yung Lean, Bladee, Deftones, and Sadness (band). Being so early in her career, Missing Together (also known as Rosa) is always looking for opportunities to grow and experience within her career
Crafting a Unique Sound
Missing Together takes from a very wide variety of different sounds, often times inspirational places sound nothing like each other. Rosa instead chooses to mix her favorite parts of her favorite music to make what she wished she'd heard earlier. A distinct callback to the 2007-2014 mixtape era can be heard in her hip-hop beats, her singing drifting between a dissociative RnB serenade and a classic and familiar but still unique emo cloud-rap melodic flow. Rosa contrasts these elements and mixes them to be her final product
Experience, Trial and Error and Lots of Learning
Rosa is an experienced musician, with her starts in 2012 as a vaporwave producer. Through the years Rosa has explored numerous genres and styles to find her own. Rosa as a songwriter has been writing since 2011, and is a published songwriter (via Trash Goth Tears Publishing)
